The main aim of the conference organized by Poznan University of Medical Sciences, Poznan University of Life Sciences and NGO “Otwarte Klatki” (member of Eurogroup) was to create opportunities for interdisciplinary discussion on the various manifestations and ways of treating farm and laboratory animals and pets. The subjects were very diversified: from academic discussion on language in the context of animal welfare, to very practical presentations. TSB/AWF added to the practical side of the conference, by showing the video summing up our 2-years-long investigation on long distance transports of unweaned calves and lambs. The audience watched the video with great interest and the organisers appreciated it so much that they invited us for next edition of the conference as speakers.
