Today is the practical training that follows the theory trainings in Lublin and Kielce. The road inspection is near a livestock market in Lagow, where a cattle market is between 5 and 9 o´clock on Wednesdays. It is minus 12 degrees this early morning, but fortunately after only 15 minutes of waiting time the first truck is directed to the place of inspection. The truck is empty, because animals were only unloaded at the market. It is still a good chance to thoroughly inspect the truck, the ramp and partitions.

After half an hour a swanneck truck is directed to the inspection team and several infringements of the legislation are found, such as inadequate dividers,  overcrowding, bulls on second level tied by the horns. While this truck is inspected another truck loaded with cows on two decks arrives with the WITD officers. The dividers pose a risk for injuries. The animals in both trucks had not enough headspace, some of them even touch the ceiling In order to give the animals more headspace the roofs are lifted, but exceed the maximum height. The animals can not be unloaded or reloaded on other vehicles, because there is no authorized stable in the area, but administrative procedures will be started against the transporters.
