Spain | Barcelona | Animal Transport Guides

Today our team is present at the last meeting of the working group for the Sheep Transport Guides as part of an European project called Animal Transport Guides (http://animaltransportguides.eu/). At the meeting different stakeholders are present to express their concerns regarding animal welfare during the transport of sheep. The objective is to agree on the good and best practices for improving sheep welfare and to understand better the transport regulation. Researchers form Spain and Romania are responsible of merging the different opinions and to further develop this Guide. The project will end in 2018 and the participation of the different stakeholders will continue in the following steps.
